- Conduct legal research and provide practical legal opinions and recommendations.
- Draft and update internal legal policies, compliance guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay informed regarding legal developments and best practices relevant to the business environment across the jurisdictions relevant to IDR's business operations.
Education:
- LLB from an accredited institution. A master's degree or specialization in Corporate, Labor, or Commercial Law will be considered an advantage.
- Licensed to practice law in Mexico.
Experience:
- 5–8+ years of legal experience, preferably in corporate, commercial, labor, or in-house legal roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting multinational or remote workforce environments.
- Familiarity with cross-border legal matters and international business operations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law, corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Experience handling employment matters under Mexican labor regulations.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and business judgment.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
