Ultrasound Technologist

Responsible for the preliminary assessment of thyroid and head/neck ultrasound exams to facilitate and expedite the final radiologist’s report.  Close collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information and reporting, including one-on one mentorship and instruction.  Potential of expansion of responsibilities to other types of ultrasound reports.  Position is onsite - direct hands-on scanning will not be required.

• Preference for 5 or more years of relevant experience, including familiarity with ultrasound of thyroid, head/neck, and lymph node mapping.
  May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable. 
• Prefer active status through one of the following: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS): Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen, RDMS(AB), Obstetrics & Gynecology, RDMS(OB/GYN), or Pediatric Sonography, RDMS(PS), and/or Registered Vascular Technologist - Vascular Technology , RVT(VT)
• May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
