Quick Summary
Minimum Qualifications - High Signal-level debugging expertise in complex designs within simulation & lab environments. - Willingness to work across geos (remotely),
The Role and Impact
As an Emulation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, testing, and optimizing emulation and FPGA models to enable efficient pre-silicon validation and post-silicon software development for cutting-edge SoCs. On a day-to-day basis, you will build and debug hardware/software collateral, enhance the usability of emulation and prototyping platforms, and drive automation flows to improve modeling efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of Intel's next-generation silicon products, accelerating innovation and validation processes.
Business group
At Intel, you will be part of a dynamic group focused on delivering high-quality emulation and prototyping solutions. This team collaborates across design, validation, and software domains to ensure seamless hardware/software integration and presilicon verification. Dedicated to driving technology excellence, the group plays a crucial role in enabling Intel's leadership in delivering reliable, high-performance Pre-Silicon solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop emulation and FPGA models using synthesis, partitioning, and routing tools.
- Create, integrate, test, and debug hardware/software collateral for simulation, emulation, and FPGA platforms.
- Improve emulation and FPGA usability for presilicon verification, postsilicon validation, and software development.
- Debug RTL failures and support verification teams in optimizing test suites and methodologies for emulation efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IP and SoC bring-up activities.
- Innovate and apply automation flows, scripts, and tools to improve productivity and emulation utilization.
- Leverage hybrid emulation environments with virtual platforms and FPGA models to enhance testing capabilities.
