UAV Engineer (Інженер БПЛА)

At Intelic, we build advanced software for unmanned systems in the defense sector. Based in Amsterdam – with a second office in Kyiv – we are a fast-growing team of engineers and domain experts developing Nexus – an intelligence platform that gives unmanned systems the speed, coordination, and reliability that critical missions demand.

Intelic is strengthening its presence in Ukraine by building trusted relationships with key partners and military end users. To support this, we are looking for a UAV Engineer to join our Ukrainian operations team and ensure reliable deployment, integration, and frontline support of Intelic's solutions in operational environments.

  Configure, test, and maintain UAV flight systems based on PX4 and ArduPilot

• →

  Configure telemetry radios, video links, onboard networks, and ground control systems to ensure reliable integration and operation

• →

  Work with hardware engineers on the integration of GPS modules, cameras, LiDAR, companion computers, and other payloads

• →

  Conduct UAV tuning, flight validation, troubleshooting, and field testing in operational conditions

• →

  Provide technical support to military and technical partners during deployment and operation

• →

  Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and communication issues in the field

• →

  Document field issues, fixes, operational feedback, and deployment learnings for internal improvement loops
  

• You have Ukrainian citizenship or the right to work in Ukraine

• You have 2+ years of hands-on experience with ArduPilot, PX4, Mission Planner, QGroundControl (QGC), or similar UAV software

• You understand UAV electronics, component integration, wiring schemes, and MAVLink-based communication systems

• You have experience with MAVProxy, telemetry debugging, and UAV system configuration

• You are familiar with companion computers such as Raspberry Pi, Jetson, or similar embedded platforms

• You have practical experience with UAV tuning, flight testing, log analysis, and troubleshooting

• You have strong troubleshooting skills with radios, networks, telemetry links, and deployment environments

• You have intermediate or higher English (written and spoken)

• You are willing to work in dynamic field conditions, including conflict-affected areas
  

• Prior experience in the defense sector, humanitarian operations, or military UAV deployments
