2nd Shift MO II Stainless

• →Operates highly complex machinery used in the production process. From prints, adjusts and tig welds stainless steel shells and components.
• →Performs semi-complex machine set-ups; loads welder with component parts to be welded.
• →Ensures machines are operating at required capacity and that production requirements are met.
• →Monitors the performance of equipment; identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves problems in order to maintain efficient operations.
• →Observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance production. Monitors controls of welder (temp, cycle time, amps-volts, etc.)
• →Recognizes process upset; both special and common cause, and notifies the appropriate person.
• →Assists in preparing and maintain scorecards, Gemba Boards, etc., so that performance problems can be identified and resolved.
• →Assists maintenance team in basic troubleshooting and equipment malfunctioning diagnostics.
• →Maintains equipment and performs preventive maintenance notifying Group Leader/Maintenance personnel if welding machine malfunctions.
• →Visually inspects welds to assure that blueprints, code and quality standards are met.
• →Supporting the training and development of peers within the organization.
• →Performs assembly, packaging, housekeeping and other related duties as may be assigned by the Group Leader or supervisor.
