HVAC Mechanical Service Technician Serviceman (union)

This opportunity offers the chance to commission, service and maintain the most advanced commercial equipment in the world.  As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will consult with our customers on comfort, building inefficiency and other service-related issues. 

We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards and advancement. You will have direct access to Factory Technical Support. We will equip you with the safety equipment, uniforms, tools, cell phone, technical equipment and vehicle required for your job. 
 

Servicemen must have two years practical working experience in residential, light commercial or commercial mechanical equipment. You may be required to satisfactorily pass an examination to identify your skills and knowledge.  Servicemen may assist Journeymen in the repair and service of centrifugal, absorption, screw and scroll chillers. 

Required 

• Adherence to the company Safety Program. 

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 

•  A valid driver’s license 

• Good verbal and written communication skills. 

• Be willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters. 

Preferred 

• 1 years of Commercial and or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry 

• Demonstrated knowledge of the maintenance and minor repair pumps, VFD’s, Air Handling Units, and Rooftop units. 

• EPA Refrigerant Certification required. 

Pay Range: $20-$27 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
