Responsibilities

- →Optimize Workflow: Adjust work assignments based on priorities and availability, ensuring smooth operations.
- →Support Your Team: Provide tools, materials, and guidance to help your team succeed.
- →Champion Safety & Quality: Conduct audits, enforce PPE use, and maintain high standards.
- →Problem-Solve Proactively: Tackle challenges with urgency and ownership, escalating when needed.
- →Maintain Excellence: Uphold 5S standards and ensure proper housekeeping in all work areas.
- All of the responsibilities and functions as detailed in the Material Handler I & II job descriptions.
- Have complete familiarity of all job functions in Receiving and Warehouse operations.
- Trained and certified in the use of all of the Material Handling equipment throughout the manufacturing operation including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, stand-ups, etc.
- Able to access the ERP system and perform inventory transactions and inquiries within the system.
- Utilizing the ERP system, determine by part number, quantity of material on hand by location.
- Able to research inventory discrepancies by reviewing transaction history of material movement.
- Understands how and why the Quarantine location exists and how to use it.
- Is a steward of all safety rules, regulations and guidelines.
- Assist WH Supervisor to oversee all activities and processes related to parts packing including pre-packing, crating, staging and kitting. Ensure all parts are adequately packed and labeled.
- Assist outside departments with resolving issues or potential issues that are related to material availability and accuracy.
- Ability to train new employees.
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility.
Requirements

- Collaborative style as well as the ability to work cross functionally.
- Previous warehouse experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and frequently lift up to 40 lbs Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing or walking over hard concrete surface Exposure to recurring bending, crouching, stooping, kneeling, sitting, climbing, stretching, reaching, or similar activities Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in the English Language
