Facility Manager

The Data Center Facility Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of critical data center infrastructure. This role ensures maximum uptime, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards while managing facility systems, vendor relationships, and on-site teams.

Experience with hyperscale or colocation data center environments. Knowledge of green data center initiatives and sustainability practices. Project management certification (PMP) or equivalent. Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Outstanding communication skills for interacting with technical teams, vendors, and executives. High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence. Ability to work flexible hours including on-call availability for emergency response.

Position requires on-site presence at data center facility. May require work during nights, weekends, and holidays for maintenance windows or emergency response. Physical requirements include ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions within the facility.
