AI Native Founding Product and Platform Engineer

This is a founding-level engineering opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who wants to shape a modern digital product and engineering platform from the ground up. You will define architecture, development practices, tooling, and technical standards while actively building production systems. The role spans customer-facing product experiences, distributed backend services, cloud infrastructure, and developer platforms. You will establish scalable foundations that allow a lean engineering organization to move faster, operate safely, and deliver high-quality products. Rather than focusing on governance, you will lead through code, making critical technical decisions through hands-on delivery and pragmatic problem-solving. You will also turn successful engineering patterns into reusable capabilities that can accelerate development across the organization. • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial experience across both product engineering and platform or SRE environments.
• Expert-level experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Deep experience building distributed backend systems using Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Architectural and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines, including experience building workflows with tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Proven ability to design scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems.
• Practical expertise in monitoring, tracing, testing, and operational excellence, with familiarity with technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
• Strong product mindset and experience working closely with Product and Design teams to create solutions that deliver meaningful value to users.
• Builder-oriented approach, with a preference for solving architectural challenges through practical implementation rather than process-heavy governance.
• Strong systems thinking, technical judgment, and ability to balance simplicity, scalability, reliability, and delivery speed.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
• Comfortable working in a greenfield, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment where ownership and initiative are highly valued.
