This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, hands-on product leader to shape the future of retail security technology and intelligent store operations. You will own the vision, roadmap, commercialization, and business performance of a product portfolio spanning loss prevention, produce recognition, computer vision, video security, analytics, and emerging AI-enabled solutions. Combining customer insight with strong commercial judgment, you will transform complex retailer challenges into scalable products that deliver measurable business value. You will lead and develop a high-performing product management team while collaborating closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Innovation, and Customer Success. From early discovery and rapid experimentation through launch and portfolio expansion, you will drive product decisions that balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and sustainable growth. This leadership role offers the opportunity to influence product strategy, expand recurring revenue, and help retailers build safer, smarter, and more efficient stores.

Own the overall vision, portfolio strategy, roadmap, investment priorities, and lifecycle management for the Security Suite, including loss prevention, produce recognition, computer vision, video security, analytics, and emerging AI-enabled use cases.

Lead portfolio business planning and performance, overseeing revenue, annual recurring revenue (ARR), adoption, expansion, margins, pipeline, pricing, packaging, and investment decisions.

Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitive developments to identify opportunities for investment, acceleration, strategic partnerships, repositioning, or portfolio rationalization.

Lead the Product Management function and establish a modern, hands-on product operating model focused on customer discovery, rapid experimentation, validated solutions, and measurable outcomes.

Guide product managers in working directly with customers and Engineering teams from initial discovery through development, delivery, and product acceptance.

Define customer problems, product requirements, scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria while collaborating with Engineering on technical feasibility, execution plans, and delivery commitments.

Build strong relationships with retailers, engaging directly with loss prevention teams, store operations leaders, technology stakeholders, and executives to understand challenges and validate product direction.

Establish effective voice-of-customer practices and translate market insights into scalable product strategies rather than one-off customer-specific solutions.

Represent the portfolio with customers, strategic partners, industry analysts, and relevant industry forums.

Own commercialization strategy in partnership with Sales and Technical Marketing, including product positioning, packaging, pricing, target segments, use-case economics, and go-to-market plans.

Support strategic sales opportunities while developing repeatable offerings that can scale across customers, locations, devices, and retail environments.

Drive adoption and recurring software revenue by expanding product capabilities, identifying new use cases, and increasing customer penetration.

Coordinate cross-functional product execution across Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, Innovation, Finance, and Portfolio Operations.

Provide high-level product requirements and desired outcomes, remain engaged throughout execution, and lead product acceptance activities.

Collaborate on major customer statements of work and user acceptance testing while protecting the integrity, scalability, and long-term direction of the core product roadmap.

Establish clear team objectives, operating cadences, performance indicators, and executive reporting to track progress, risks, opportunities, and business outcomes.

Develop and mentor product management talent, building a high-performing team with strong accountability, customer focus, and commercial awareness.

Measure success through portfolio growth, ARR, adoption, expansion, gross margin, pipeline conversion, customer ROI, product usage, roadmap delivery, time from discovery to validation, customer satisfaction, and retention.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven leadership in product management for enterprise software or SaaS products, with experience spanning discovery, commercialization, growth, and lifecycle management.

Demonstrated ability to translate customer and retailer insights into product strategy, roadmap priorities, business cases, and measurable outcomes.

Hands-on product leadership experience, including customer discovery, rapid experimentation, prototyping, prioritization, scope management, and product acceptance.

Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with pricing, packaging, revenue and ARR, adoption, margins, pipeline management, forecasting, and investment decisions.

Technical fluency across modern SaaS platforms, APIs, cloud and edge architectures, AI/ML, and computer vision, with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects and Engineering teams.

Experience leading cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, Finance, and external partners.

Strong customer-facing and executive communication skills, including the ability to present product strategy and business value to retailers, strategic partners, industry analysts, and senior leadership.

Entrepreneurial mindset, sound judgment, and decisiveness, with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments and move quickly from customer insight to action.

Demonstrated ability to balance customer requirements, technical feasibility, business priorities, and long-term product scalability.

Experience building and developing product management teams, establishing clear operating practices, and driving accountability for measurable results.

MBA or equivalent business leadership experience.

Experience in retail technology, loss prevention, computer vision, AI/ML, store operations, or adjacent industries.

Experience commercializing enterprise software or SaaS products and scaling recurring-revenue business models.
