Business AnalystData & AI

We are seeking an experienced PMIS Business Analyst to support the delivery of a major infrastructure modernization program involving the development of five state-of-the-art dormitory facilities for up to 6,000 military medical students.
In this role, you will configure, integrate, and optimize a Project Management Information System (PMIS) to support project controls, data governance, reporting, and coordination across complex construction activities.
You will collaborate with government representatives, military stakeholders, designers, contractors, and project leadership to ensure accurate information and efficient decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Your expertise will help connect cost, schedule, quality, document management, inspections, and asset data within a consistent and reliable digital environment.
You will also lead business process analysis, system testing, user training, and continuous improvement to strengthen project performance and accountability.
This remote opportunity combines construction technology, systems integration, and business analysis within a high-profile, mission-critical infrastructure program.
You will play a key role in protecting project interests, improving operational transparency, and supporting the successful delivery of essential public infrastructure.

  • PMIS Configuration and Integration: Configure and integrate the Project Management Information System to enable consistent tracking of project requirements, decisions, costs, schedules, quality activities, and project turnover.
  • Business Process Analysis: Lead discovery sessions with program stakeholders, document current and future workflows, and define information requirements, data structures, unique identifiers, workflow ownership, and system integration priorities.
  • Workflow and Reporting Development: Configure approved forms, workflows, user permissions, dashboards, and interfaces within the selected technology environment to support reliable reporting and efficient project execution.
  • Data Integration and Quality Assurance: Connect schedule, cost, document management, inspection, modular asset traceability, and asset datasets. Establish validation and reconciliation controls to maintain data integrity across factory, construction site, and program-level activities.
  • System Implementation and Change Management: Manage configuration changes, coordinate user acceptance testing, validate migrated data, document approved releases, and ensure changes are implemented in a controlled and traceable manner.
  • User Training and Support: Develop and deliver role-based training through instructor-led sessions, virtual learning, and quick-reference guides. Provide first-line user support, troubleshoot workflow issues, and maintain system configuration and support documentation.
  • Security and Information Management: Coordinate user access, system security, records retention, data exports, and project handoff requirements with authorized IT and security personnel.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison with the PMIS vendor, managing support tickets, enhancement requests, release updates, and issue resolution to maintain system performance and usability.
  • PMIS Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce governance practices, including naming conventions, change request procedures, user provisioning and deprovisioning, periodic access reviews, and system audit readiness.
  • Project Controls Support: Enable consistent information management across construction workflows, including requests for information (RFIs), submittals, change management, cost and budget tracking, invoicing, payment applications, inspections, and project closeout.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Promote collaboration among government representatives, design-build teams, contractors, and owner advisory stakeholders to maintain alignment, resolve information gaps, and support informed project decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve system usability, data quality, reporting efficiency, and digital coordination throughout the infrastructure program.
