This senior engineering role offers the opportunity to shape the design, construction, and performance of complex facilities supporting highly regulated cultivation, manufacturing, laboratory, and distribution operations. You will provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure, HVAC systems, building automation, and environmental controls. Your expertise will help create reliable, energy-efficient environments where temperature, humidity, airflow, ventilation, and CO₂ management are critical to operational success. Working closely with Operations, Facilities, Construction, Quality, and Compliance teams, you will lead capital projects, assess facility infrastructure, and coordinate engineering partners across domestic and international locations. The position combines strategic engineering oversight with practical problem-solving, commissioning support, and continuous facility improvement. This is a full-time, remote and field-based opportunity for an experienced professional located near a major airport, with travel required up to 60% of the time.

  • Lead facility design, construction, commissioning, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects across cultivation, manufacturing, laboratory, and distribution facilities.

  • Provide technical expertise in HVAC, MEP infrastructure, building automation systems (BAS), environmental controls, and facility utilities.

  • Design, evaluate, and optimize controlled-environment facilities, including systems for temperature, humidity, airflow, ventilation, and CO₂ management.

  • Coordinate engineering consultants, contractors, equipment vendors, and cross-functional project teams to ensure projects meet technical, operational, schedule, and quality requirements.

  • Conduct facility assessments and technical due diligence to support acquisitions, expansions, capital investments, and infrastructure modernization.

  • Review existing facility systems, utility capacity, engineering designs, and infrastructure constraints to identify risks and recommend practical improvements.

  • Partner with Operations, Facilities, Quality, and Compliance teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement sustainable, reliable solutions.

  • Support facility readiness and engineering compliance for regulated environments operating under GACP, GMP, and EU-GMP requirements.

  • Promote compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable facility safety standards throughout design, construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations.

  • Drive continuous improvement in facility performance, system reliability, operational efficiency, and engineering standards across the facility portfolio.

  • Support domestic and international projects, coordinating with stakeholders across multiple locations and disciplines.
