As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will support and enhance enterprise SAP environments, with a primary focus on Application Management Services (AMS) and production support. You will play a key role in resolving critical technical incidents, maintaining system reliability, and delivering high-quality ABAP solutions within agreed service levels. Working closely with functional consultants and distributed development teams, you will investigate complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes. You will also contribute to change requests, system enhancements, and development across SAP S/4HANA Private and Public Cloud environments. The role emphasizes modern SAP technologies, clean core principles, and upgrade-safe extensions. You will join an international, collaborative environment offering exposure to complex projects and opportunities to strengthen your technical expertise.

Serve as the primary technical contact for AMS accounts, managing high-priority P1 and P2 incidents within agreed service-level agreements.
Collaborate with functional consultants to diagnose and resolve technical issues, including debugging, short dumps using ST22, failed jobs, IDoc and interface errors, and performance bottlenecks.
Coordinate with distributed development teams, assigning and reviewing technical work and ensuring appropriate backup coverage for critical incidents.
Conduct root cause analysis and document resolutions, workarounds, and known errors to improve support quality and prevent recurring issues.
Participate in on-call or standby rotations to support critical production incidents when required.
Estimate, design, develop, and unit test ABAP solutions for change requests and system enhancements.
Prepare technical specifications and assist functional consultants during testing, deployment, and cutover activities.
Manage transports and releases in accordance with customer change management procedures.
Develop and maintain SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud solutions using classic and modern ABAP, including reports, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, forms, interfaces, CDS views, and OData services.
Support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility through ABAP Cloud, the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), released APIs, key-user extensibility, and side-by-side extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), as needed.
Apply clean core principles and development best practices to maintain system stability, facilitate upgrades, and minimize custom-code dependencies.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, including a minimum of 2 years working with SAP S/4HANA.
Proven experience in AMS or production support, with the ability to investigate and resolve high-priority incidents under time pressure.
Strong knowledge of ABAP on HANA, including Open SQL, Core Data Services (CDS) views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and OData services.
Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility, including ABAP Cloud, RAP, released APIs, and ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with familiarity with SAP logistics and finance processes such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Financial Accounting (FI).
Experience working with interfaces and integration technologies, including IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Ability to collaborate effectively with functional consultants and distributed technical teams to troubleshoot issues, deliver enhancements, and maintain reliable production systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills, particularly when handling critical incidents and documenting technical solutions.
