Senior Product Manager (Finance and Account Management)
Quick Summary
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps.
In this senior product leadership role, you will shape the strategy and roadmap for finance and account management products within a global eCommerce shipping technology environment. You will lead initiatives spanning payments, billing, invoicing, reconciliation, account lifecycle management, identity verification, and fraud prevention. Working across multiple engineering squads and business functions, you will turn complex financial and operational challenges into scalable product solutions. Your work will directly influence payment efficiency, revenue growth, customer conversion, and risk management. -
Reduce payment processing costs by optimizing payment method selection, enabling multi-currency settlement, managing regional payment provider migrations, and addressing payment failures, disputes, and chargebacks.
-
Drive revenue and financial accuracy through pricing and fee structures, processing fees, tax and duty adjustments, and compliant VAT/GST invoicing across multiple regions.
-
Lead the end-to-end account lifecycle, including registration, verification, user roles, team permissions, account settings, and account closure, balancing a smooth customer experience with effective controls.

Define and continuously improve fraud prevention and risk management measures across onboarding and payments, working closely with Finance, Customer Experience, and Compliance.
-
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting, Customer Experience, Sales, Legal, and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions and serve as the primary product contact for initiatives involving payments and accounts.
-
Establish and monitor performance metrics, including transaction costs as a percentage of gross merchandise value (GMV), payment success rates, dispute rates, revenue leakage, fraud losses, onboarding conversion, and account-related support volume.
-
Prioritize opportunities across both squads, define minimum viable products (MVPs), deliver quickly, assess results, and iterate based on measurable outcomes.
-
Write and review Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and Opportunity Assessments, clearly documenting trade-offs, edge cases, compliance requirements, and data considerations before engineering implementation.
-
Apply AI tools directly to product discovery, analysis, PRD creation, and data accuracy checks while encouraging effective AI adoption across the product team.
-
Contribute senior product leadership by raising documentation and decision-making standards, sharing best practices, and mentoring less experienced product managers.
