As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help build and scale the event-driven infrastructure that powers third-party integrations and essential developer platform services.
You will design, develop, and maintain reliable webhook services and APIs that enable developers and organizations to connect applications and automate workflows.
Working within a distributed engineering team, you will tackle complex challenges involving high-volume traffic, system reliability, and distributed architectures.
You will collaborate closely with infrastructure specialists across databases, messaging queues, networking, and compute to improve performance and service resilience.
This role offers the opportunity to influence technical architecture, improve observability, and deliver scalable solutions that support a growing global developer ecosystem.
You will also contribute to engineering excellence through technical mentorship, thoughtful code reviews, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
If you enjoy solving challenging distributed systems problems and building dependable services that developers rely on every day, this remote opportunity offers an exciting environment for technical growth and meaningful impact.

  • Design, develop, test, and deliver improvements to webhook services and APIs, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Build, operate, and optimize event-driven systems capable of processing high volumes of traffic while maintaining availability and performance.
  • Investigate complex technical issues across distributed services, identify root causes, and implement solutions that improve system reliability and delivery success.
  • Enhance monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability tools to make production issues easier to diagnose and resolve.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams responsible for databases, messaging queues, networking, and compute resources to address dependencies and improve platform performance.
  • Support internal engineering teams and external integration use cases by providing technical guidance and helping developers build reliable webhook integrations.
  • Contribute to technical direction by preparing architecture proposals, evaluating design alternatives, and developing experiments or prototypes to validate scaling strategies.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and use continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to release changes safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in production support, including on-call and first-responder rotations, to investigate incidents, restore service health, and prevent recurring problems.
  • Provide technical leadership through mentoring, pair programming, constructive code reviews, and knowledge sharing with fellow engineers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve engineering workflows, operational practices, system performance, and development tools.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with geographically distributed colleagues, documenting decisions clearly and maintaining effective communication across teams.
  • Contribute to a customer-focused engineering culture that values ownership, experimentation, continuous learning, inclusion, and collective success.
