The Training Coordinator will work with the Manager, Training & Safety to develop, coordinate, schedule, document, and deliver training to Metagenics employees.
The Training Coordinator will work with the Manager, Training & Safety to develop, coordinate, schedule, document, and deliver training to Metagenics employees. This position will have particular emphasis on tracking and documenting the training conducted at the Gig Harbor Manufacturing facility, to meet GMP certification requirements. The Training Coordinator will also help coordinate training sessions and assist with the delivery of training materials to employees.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Create, and update Employee training files as needed, to meet the GMP certification requirements.
- →Assign SOP reading assignments to employees and document reading list completions into employee training files and computer databases.
- →Ensure the proper documentation and database entries are input, and ensure all newly revised SOP training are provided to the appropriate personnel, etc.
- →Sort and file training documents into employee files.
- →Assign training tasks and assessments per job duty and track training progress using training databases.
- →Assist with the on-boarding of new employees by conducting new hire orientation training sessions as needed.
- →Facilitate respirator fit testing per State and OSHA regulations, including using respirators as part of the testing process.
- →Deliver forklift operator training per State and OSHA regulations.
- →Ensure that training records are updated and maintained for all Metagenics employees.
- →Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and/or deliver other employee training, primarily at the Gig Harbor location.
- →Deliver (and revise as needed working in conjunction with QA/QC), GMP Overview and general SOP training.
- →Run reports to evaluate training needs. Communicate with Safety and Training Manager to ensure training is completed.
- →Work with Director, NA Manufacturing and Manager, Training & Safety and Supervisors to develop, revise, and deliver specific SOP training for specific job functions as needed.
- →Maintain and update databases such as VelocityEHS, ShareKnowledge, and MSDSonline as needed.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Prefer 2-3 years of training experience, particularly in the manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of production, warehouse, and packaging SOPs and processes
- Knowledge of general GMP principles and concepts
- Knowledge of general training processes
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety requirements, practices, and procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Skilled with Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to foster and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers at all levels
What We Offer

The current range for this role based out of Gig Harbor, WA is $49,000/yr. to $56,000/yr.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

A minimum of five workdays (standard working hours are 8am-5pm) per week are to be conducted at the Metagenics Gig Harbor office 9627 44th Ave, Gig Harbor, WA 98332.
