Overnight Waterpark Painter 

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Overnight Waterpark Painter. In this role, you will be responsible for painting all areas in the waterpark by receiving directions from the manager on the specific areas to be painted, making sure to prep areas first before painting and assisting with pool cleaning and small maintenance tasks when given direction on. 

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll create a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for guests and associates throughout the resort. By maintaining the pools and spas to the highest standards, you’ll help ensure a positive and relaxing experience for everyone using the facilities. 

Pay Rate: $17 - $35 per hour 

Key Responsibilities  

• Prepping areas to be painted and ensuring that all supplies are cleaned up and put away before the end of the shift 

• Ensure waterpark is maintained and assist with waterpark appearance so that guests are not inconvenienced because of repairs or wet paint areas that are not properly blocked off. 

• Other duties as assigned by the Waterpark Maintenance Manager. 

What We’re Looking For  

• Knowledge of waterpark maintenance and it’s day-to-day functions within a resort. 

• A background consisting of knowledge of leisure activities / commercial recreation in a “for profit” setting is preferred. 

• Ability to work between the hours of 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM  

• Knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them  

• Possible heavy workloads; exerting up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or other wise move objects. Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching involved.  

• Must be able to work in warm/humid settings and hot/humid weather for indoor and outdoor waterpark environments.
