OBJECTIVE:

The F&B Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage department in coordinating daily operations, administrative tasks, and communication between outlets and management. The role ensures smooth service delivery, accurate documentation, and effective guest and staff support in accordance with Kandima service standards.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Food & Beverage operations or administrative role. • Excellent

coordination and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and support multiple outlets

simultaneously. • Knowledge of food & beverage service standards.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate daily administrative and operational tasks for the F&B; department.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, schedules, and staff rosters for outlets.
  • Assist in handling guest reservations, special requests, and event coordination.
  • Ensure all F&B; communications (memos, updates, reports) are circulated accurately.
  • Support F&B; managers in preparing for meetings, trainings, and audits.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and tracking consumption.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between restaurants, bars, kitchen, and other departments.
  • Handle guest inquiries related to F&B; services in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Monitor and compile guest feedback and share with the management team.
  • Maintain organized filing of F&B; documents, menus, and operational records.
  • Assist with training coordination and onboarding of new F&B; staff.
  • Work closely with finance team on billing, checks, and reconciliations related to F&B.;
  • Provide administrative support during special events, banquets, and promotions.

• To contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance the procedures in the Resort.

• To keep updated on changes to other areas of resort product and sharing such information with your team and department on an ongoing basis.

• To maintain excellent grooming and hygiene ensuring all grooming standards are met in relation to personal grooming and uniform presentation.

• To comply with Resort Safety & Environment policies, initiatives and legislation.

• To abide by all Work Place Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations at all times.

• To abide by the guidelines set out in the Employee Handbook.

• To carry out any other duties as directed by the department or the Resort General Manager.

• To meet and attend to customer complaints satisfactorily.

• To carry out on-the-job training to ensure subordinate staff can carry out their duties effectively.

• To attend meetings and training courses as required.

• To actively participate in Human Resources, Learning and Development initiatives that will help the Resort to deliver higher levels of service to our guests and our compliance to good health and safety practices at the workplace.

• To support by assisting with on-the-job training and orientation of new team members/trainees and other reasonable requests in order to improve the performance and service standards of our team.

• As a member of the leadership team, to coach, support and develop his/her team members, wherever required. This is in conjunction to promote opportunities for development and towards future success of our resort & the company.

WORKING CONDITION:

• Office Space: Assigned workspace within the F&B; department.

• Technological Support: Computer, landline phone, and relevant F&B; systems provided.

• General: Expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as per

operational needs.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Specific performance measures to be agreed during appraisals. • Performance appraised annually by the F&B; Manager / Assistant F&B; Manager.
