To offer retail advice and assistance to guests, also to provide excellent customer service as laid out in the policy and procedure manual. Whenever requested to assist the head therapist in conducting the operations and administration of spa and to ensure that the spa treatment rooms are immaculate at all times
Responsibilities
~1 min read- To organize and perform therapies in rooms stocked and set up to the standards detailed in the spa training and policy and procedures manual.
- To provide service promptly, courteously and accurately.
- To request, collect stock and supplies in accordance with minimum stock levels.
- To ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the spa.
- To ensure all equipment is well maintained and in safe condition.
- To handle guest complaints and record all guest comments and ensure the spa manager and head therapist are aware of all issues.
- To assist in providing departmental orientation to newly recruited staff.
- To perform all spa treatments as instructed by the receptionist, head therapist or spa manager.
- To complete written prescriptions for guests whenever applicable.
- To log all product recommendations.
- To always get the guest to fill in a medical form or a spa consultation form.
- To have a sound and thorough knowledge of the methods and services offered in the spa and the items within the retail area.
- To actively encourage up selling and link selling of spa services
- To actively encourage the guest to purchase retail items.
- To maintain a peaceful and harmonious environment with in and external to the spa.
- To prepare all treatments as required or as directed by the head therapist or Spa manager.
- To attend training sessions whenever applicable to regularly update your knowledge and skills in the professional field
- To develop self to enhance performance.
- To have open and honest communication skills with all team members.
- To understand the resorts policies and procedures and adhere to them.
- To develop a general knowledge of the service and facilities offered at the resort by reviewing the resort handbook and attending induction.
- To maintain a high level of grooming standard as laid out in the policy and procedures manual.
- To establish good guest relations and rapport.
- To provide high standards of cleanliness in the Spa.
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform at all times.
- To assist in the building of an efficient team of employees.
- To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
- To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Resort’s employee rules and regulations.
- To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Resort’s policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- To carry out all other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Promote and encourage further Spa and Fitness treatments and add-on sales.
- To report to duty wearing correct uniform at all times compiling with Kandima uniform standards.
