KBR is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to support HQ Space Training and Readiness Command located in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A strong candidate will have background provisioning computer accounts, troubleshooting connectivity or configuration issues, and interacting with General/Flag officers and their staffs. In this position, you will:
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide technical support for communications equipment, peripherals, networks, and software.
- →Provide technical guidance in use of Microsoft Windows, peripheral/shared drive mapping, browser compatibility / configuration.
- →Configure / maintain government-issued cell phones.
- →Troubleshoot error messages, provide technical solutions, and open trouble tickets.
- →Support users at all STARCOM HQ locations.
- →Support and resolve issues within PWS-specified timelines.
- →Provide systems accounts for NIPRNet and SIPRNET and systems support.
- →Set up or modify user access to the classified internet and e-mail accounts.
- →Troubleshoot connectivity or configuration issues.
Requirements
~1 min read- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
- Security + Certification.
- 5+ years of experience supporting DoD networks and working with Comm Focal Points.
- Knowledge of USAF and US Space Force Information Technology policies and procedures.
- Self Starter with the ability to work independently.
- Accustomed to professionally working with senior leaders.
- Experience with providing technical guidance to users.
- Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).
- BA/BS Degree
- Headquarters, Combatant Command or MAJCOM/Field Command experience.
40hrs
- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard
What We Offer

This range is for Colorado only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
