As a valued member of our multicultural SAP Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on the design and implementation of SAP-based IT systems and business processes. You will actively support clients through complex global transformation projects, leveraging your expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced SAP professional who demonstrates strong end-to-end technical skills across ABAP, SAP BTP, and UI technologies. You have the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions that comply with Clean Core principles. Your clear communication, adherence to established standards, and commitment to continuous learning especially in modern SAP and AI-enabled tools.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Model, design, implement, and test SAP solutions using advanced programming models such as RAP and CAP.
- →Collaborate with functional teams and product owners to analyze and specify business requirements, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and organizational needs.
- →Develop and maintain SAP applications across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and hybrid environments, supporting a wide range of business scenarios.
- →Create backend services using ABAP and ABAP OO, including the development of CDS Views, OData services, and RAP-based applications.
- →Design and enhance custom SAP UI5 applications, as well as extend standard SAP Fiori applications to meet specific business requirements.
- →Implement integrations using REST APIs, OData, IDocs, and recognized SAP integration patterns, ensuring seamless connectivity between systems.
- →Apply Clean Core and Side-by-Side Extensibility principles to solutions, promoting sustainability and maintainability.
- →Conduct code reviews, develop and execute test cases, and provide support for acceptance testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- →Offer technical support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis, to resolve issues efficiently.
- →Design and document technical solutions in accordance with ITIL standards, supporting robust IT service management practices.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study.
- At least 6+ years of professional experience in SAP development.
- Extensive hands-on experience with ABAP and ABAP Object-Oriented programming.
- Proficient in SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, and Fiori Elements development.
- Proven expertise in SAP Programming Models, including RAP and/or CAP.
- Practical experience working with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry) and CAP using Node.js.
- In-depth knowledge of CDS Views, HANA code push-down, and performance optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP Clean Core approaches and Side-by-Side Extensibility.
- Familiarity with SAP Work Zone for collaborative workplace solutions.
- Solid understanding of business processes within key SAP modules.
- Experience working with IDoc extensions and managing advanced integration scenarios.
- Knowledge of Business Workflows, including Flexible Workflow and BRF+.
- Expertise in Custom Code Migration, including tools, processes, and best practice guidelines.
- Knowledge of Web Dynpro for ABAP, Floorplan Manager (FPM), and BSP.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating within Agile development environments.
- Possession of at least one valid SAP certification in a relevant SAP-related technology (such as ABAP, SAP BTP, or Integration).
- Basic knowledge of or practical experience with AI-enabled tools, with a preference for SAP Joule.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required by project needs.
