With a strong and growing pipeline of major water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects, we’re looking for a Senior Construction Manager to step into a high-impact role at the center of that momentum. Our projects are active, complex, and long-term—many with construction schedules spanning 3 to 7 years. You’ll step directly into meaningful work, helping lead critical infrastructure projects that serve communities while playing a key role in shaping our continued growth in the region. If you’re someone who thrives in a leadership role, enjoys being in the field, and wants to be part of building something that continues to expand, this is a unique opportunity to do just that—with the backing of a national, employee-owned firm.   Responsibilities:  Serve as the day-to-day leader on major infrastructure construction projects Act as the primary point of coordination between clients, contractors, designers, and field teams Drive project execution across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety Lead field teams, providing direction, mentorship, and accountability Oversee construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress payments Facilitate project meetings, resolve issues, and maintain strong communication across all stakeholders Ensure alignment with contract documents, project goals, and client expectations Manage subconsultants and support overall project delivery Represent projects in client and public-facing settings when needed   Qualifications: 10–20 years of experience managing complex construction projects from start to finish Background in water, wastewater, stormwater, or related infrastructure Proven ability to lead teams and successfully deliver projects in active construction environments Strong working knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and project delivery approaches Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and lead across diverse stakeholders Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar PE license (or ability to obtain) Experience with tools like Procore, SharePoint, or Unifier is a plus Certifications such as CCM or PMP are a plus   Why This Role Stands Out Immediate impact – Step into active, long-term projects already underway Market growth – Be part of a rapidly expanding region with strong future opportunity Leadership opportunity – Lead critical projects and help shape how we grow locally Stability + momentum – Backed by a respected, employee-owned firm with a strong national presence Meaningful work – Deliver essential infrastructure that directly impacts communities   This role requires a full-time presence on project sites and in office as needed. Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $160,000 to $190,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, seniority, and familiarity with water/wastewater facilities.
