The IT Developer position is a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and values to every engagement.

Responsibilities

→Take an important role in the Agile transformation of a major business bank in Belgium, working within multi-disciplinary teams responsible for digital solutions for enterprise clients.
→Develop features end-to-end, including frontend parts in mobile applications and backend parts in cloud systems.
→Join a team composed of internal and external members, working in an Agile squad responsible for Dev and Ops activities.
→Translate requirements into high quality code.
→Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable applications, with a focus on backend development using Java and Spring Framework.
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features.
→Work with outside data sources and APIs.
→Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
→Apply development best practices to ensure code quality.
→Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
→Be involved in Ops activities, including the setup of CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

Sound knowledge of English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent by experience.
Agile mindset: positive attitude, pragmatism, thirst for knowledge, focus on team success, and continuous improvement.
Cross-functional contribution: willingness to take on other roles and disciplines as needed.
At least 6 years of relevant experience.
Technical experience (mandatory):
- Software craftsmanship and clean code principles.
- Understanding of OO principles, DDD, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Readable code and refactoring skills.
- Practical experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Willingness to pair program.
- Proven knowledge of Java, Spring, Maven, DB.
- Proven knowledge of Restful APIs with swagger (yaml).
- Proven knowledge of VCS (Git).
- Proven knowledge of Continuous Integration/Deployment principles (Jenkins or alternative).
- Proven knowledge of SAST (SonarQube, Fortify, NexusIQ or alternative).
- Knowledge of Docker, Container, and Groovy.
- Participation in API automation testing.
Technical experience (nice to have):
- Technical knowledge about banking infrastructure and frameworks.
Business experience (preferable):
- Practical experience with Scrum.

- Active knowledge sharing and improvement suggestions.
- Ability to adapt and bond with new colleagues.
- Collaboration and feedback-oriented personality.
- Ability to challenge requirements based on expertise.
