Lead Teacher – Junior Preschool | West 85 Campus

OVERVIEW: 

Are you an ECE who knows how to turn curiosity, imagination and exploration into meaningful learning?

Fueling Brains Academies is looking for a Right Brain Lead Teacher to lead a consistent cohort of children aged 19 months to 3 years.

You’ll create engaging, developmentally appropriate Right Brain experiences that encourage creativity, imagination, exploration, communication and self-expression, while providing the consistency and responsive support young children need to grow in confidence and independence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead a consistent cohort of Junior Preschool children throughout their daily learning and routines.
• Plan and lead engaging Right Brain learning experiences that encourage creativity, imagination and exploration.
• Use storytelling, sensory experiences, imaginative play, music, art and open-ended activities to support learning and self-expression.
• Support children in developing early independence, self-regulation and positive social interactions.
• Observe children’s development and interests and use these insights to guide your planning.
• Support daily routines including toileting, meals, dressing, outdoor play, rest and transitions.
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about children’s progress and milestones.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 certification - Level 3 preferred.
• Experience working with toddlers or young preschool-aged children is preferred.
• Confidence planning and leading developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• A creative, warm and responsive approach to working with young children.
• Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping young children learn through exploration and discovery.
