Node.js and Middleware Engineering ● Build, enhance, and maintain REST APIs and server-sent event endpoints using Node.js and Express. Develop and maintain automated tests using Jest and Supertest.

Responsibilities

● Build, enhance, and maintain REST APIs and server-sent event endpoints using Node.js and Express. Develop and maintain automated tests using Jest and Supertest.
● Integrate application services with Salesforce using JSForce, OAuth 2.0, SOQL, and CRUD operations.
● Work with Firestore for application data, session handling, and vector search use cases. Support containerized deployments to Google Cloud Run.
● Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and queueable processes. Build Lightning Web Components and work with custom Salesforce objects.
● Execute and support data operations through Salesforce REST API, Tooling API, Bulk API 2.0, and Composite API.
● Write complex SOQL queries, including relationship queries and aggregations. Manage deployments using Salesforce CLI and SFDX project structures.
● Help maintain data quality through validation, deduplication, audit trails, and rollback-safe.
● Maintain and extend a fleet of Google Apps Script worker agents using the V8 runtime.
● Build spreadsheet-driven and batch-processing automations.
● Work within orchestrated master-worker execution patterns.
● Deploy and maintain Apps Script solutions using clasp.
● Integrate LLM and AI services such as Gemini and Claude into production workflows.
● Build and support embedding pipelines and vector-search-backed features.
● Contribute to structured, multi-stage AI processing pipelines.
● Ensure AI-enabled systems are reliable, secure, auditable, and production ready.
● Build and maintain integrations across Salesforce, Google Cloud, and Google Workspace.
● Handle authentication, API reliability, retries, monitoring, and error handling.
● Support CI/CD, Docker-based deployment workflows, and operational stability.
● Apply secure engineering practices including headers, access controls, and API protections.
● Participate in troubleshooting, QA, release processes, and ongoing production support.
● Ship reliable, well-tested code across the Node.js, Salesforce, and Apps Script environments.
● Maintain healthy test coverage and stable deployment practices.
● Support dependable Cloud Run deployments and Apps Script job execution.
● Execute Salesforce data operations safely with appropriate controls and traceability.
● Debug production issues effectively across multiple systems and layers

5+ years of hands-on JavaScript experience, including server-side Node.js development.

Strong experience building REST APIs using Express or a similar Node.js framework.

3+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, SOQL, and API integrations.

Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Supertest.Proficiency with Git, npm, and modern JavaScript development practices.

Experience using JSForce or similar Salesforce API clients. Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially Cloud Run and Firestore.

Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based deployment workflows.Google Apps Script development experience.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and OAuth 2.0 implementation.

Experience with ETL or bulk data workflows involving CSV and JSON.

Experience integrating AI or LLM APIs into production systems.
