We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team, specializing in multifamily residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating electrical systems for apartments, condominiums, and mixed-use residential buildings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to produce accurate and competitive bids.

Salary: $105,000-130,000/year

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems on multifamily projects, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems.

Review architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents to identify electrical requirements and potential risks.

Develop quantity take-offs and material lists using blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes.

Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes, negotiate pricing, and include in overall project estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to clarify project scope and ensure accuracy in estimates.

Maintain and update historical data and cost databases for future estimating purposes.

Ensure all estimates comply with local building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Assist in pre-bid meetings and provide technical support to clients and internal teams.

Track project costs during construction to compare actuals against estimates and improve future estimating accuracy.
