Job Summary

Construction Estimator responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing project plans and specifications, and identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost savings

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and documents to determine estimating requirements.
- Conduct site visits to understand project scope and requirements.
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns, including direct and indirect costs.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs, market trends, and industry developments.

Requirements:

- Experience in construction estimating.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
