Lincoln Tech in East Windsor, CT is looking for an experienced HVAC professional to join our team. No education background required. Just real-world expertise, a willingness to share it, and the kind of patience you've already developed working with customers and apprentices over the years. 

Key Responsibilities for HVAC Instructors

• Teach and provide hands-on training in HVAC Technology in our fully equipped facility
• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model
• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring
• Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently
• Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance
• Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment
• Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program
• Prepare students for a successful career in the field of HVAC Technology

Key Requirements for an HVAC Instructor: 

• 3+ years of HVAC experience in the field
• S1 or S2 CT license
• The ability to explain what you know to someone who doesn't know it yet
• A genuine interest in seeing other people succeed
• 3+ years of HVAC Technician experience
• EPA 608 certification (required within first 3 months)
• OSHA 30 certification (required within first 3 months)
• Universal EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery License
• High school diploma/GED
