OtherOrder Entry Specialist
The Order Entry Specialist supports the Customer Sales and Support team by accurately processing orders, maintaining order quality, and helping ensure timely fulfillment for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for ensuring orders within assigned regions are processed quickly and accurately.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality levels outlined in defined KPIs.
- Understand order requirements and ensure contractual obligations are implemented accurately.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with customers, Dealers, Sales, and Customer Service counterparts in a timely manner to resolve issues that prevent orders from moving through the process,
- Scenarios to include, but not limited to item & pricing discrepancies, missing information, and/or system errors.
- Review and validate order information for completeness, pricing & SKU accuracy, and shipping requirements.
- Prioritize orders with special handling requirements.
- Work as a team in assisting others in the department to meet group goals.
- Supporting other OE regions & accounts when backlogged.
- Identify opportunities to improve order processing efficiency, accuracy and customer experience.
- Work in multiple systems and programs related to sales, order entry, and quoting.
- Work with the Distribution Center, as needed, to determine complex configuration solutions.
- Participate in ISO audits and documentation updates.
- Assist others in the department through cross-training and onboarding of new hires.
- Effectively balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a professional, ethical, and respectful attitude while demonstrating teamwork.
- Other duties as needed.
- 3-5 years Customer Service/Data Entry experience.
- High school diploma, college preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to understand technical products. Product knowledge with certified products a plus.
- Digital proficiency, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Suite. Salesforce and Oracle experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, through multiple channels such as email and phone calls.
