Social Worker - Child Protection

As a Social Worker within the Child Protection Team, you will:

• →Safeguard children and young people who may be at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other forms of harm.
• →Assess the needs, risks, and circumstances of children and families to inform decision-making.
• →Develop, implement, and review child protection and safeguarding plans.
• →Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies.
• →Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and interventions in line with relevant legislation and guidance.
• →Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records and reports.
• →Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings where required.
• →Provide support, guidance, and signposting to appropriate services and resources.
• →Manage a caseload effectively while ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.
• →Promote the safety, welfare, development, and best interests of children and young people at all times.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
