Liquid Personnel are proud to be supporting Wiltshire Council in recruiting an Experienced Social Worker to join their Support & Safeguarding Team on a permanent basis.

  • Competitive salary of £45,841 - £48,036 per annum (inclusive of 15% market supplement) (DOE)

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and Public Law cases
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with children and families to create sustainable change
  • Undertaking assessments, care planning, and direct interventions to safeguard children
  • Working closely with partner agencies to deliver effective multi-agency support
  • Contributing to court work and statutory processes where required
  • Supporting children to remain safely within their families wherever possible

 

We are looking for passionate and committed social workers who are motivated to deliver excellent services for children and families.

To be considered, you will have:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Completion of ASYE
  • Experience within Children's Social Care, safeguarding or family support services
  • Strong assessment, communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commitment to high-quality, child-centred practice
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
