Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Referral and Assessment team based in Swindon.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

→Conduct statutory assessments and child protection investigations.
→Develop and implement Child in Need or Child Protection Plans.
→Support children and families through community services and the Family Intervention and Support Service.
→Work within the Family Safeguarding Model to help children remain safely within their families.
→Participate in a duty rota every 5 weeks as part of a POD structure.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have,

Social Work England registration
Eligible to work in the UK
Hold a full UK driving licence
Post-qualified experience
Degree level or equivalent in Social Work

Strong strengths-based and child-centred approach.
Effective assessment, planning, and direct work skills.
Fluent in English (Part 7 of the Immigration Act requirement)
