Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Referral and Assessment team based in Swindon.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct statutory assessments and child protection investigations.
  • Develop and implement Child in Need or Child Protection Plans.
  • Support children and families through community services and the Family Intervention and Support Service.
  • Work within the Family Safeguarding Model to help children remain safely within their families.
  • Participate in a duty rota every 5 weeks as part of a POD structure.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work

  • Strong strengths-based and child-centred approach.
  • Effective assessment, planning, and direct work skills.
  • Fluent in English (Part 7 of the Immigration Act requirement)
