Social Worker - Assessment and Safeguarding

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker for its client’s Assessment and Safeguarding Team in Haringey. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred social work within a fast-paced Assessment and Safeguarding Team. Responsibilities include responding to new referrals, conducting statutory assessments, and managing safeguarding concerns to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of vulnerable adults.

• →Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments to determine eligibility for services and support needs.
• →Lead and coordinate Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, ensuring timely and proportionate responses to risk.
• →Apply Mental Capacity Act 2005 principles, completing Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest decisions.
• →Respond to incoming referrals from professionals, families, and the public, triaging and prioritising cases effectively.
• →Develop and review strengths-based support plans that promote independence and wellbeing.
• →Work collaboratively with health professionals, housing, police, and voluntary sector partners to deliver integrated support.
• →Maintain accurate and timely case records using the council’s case management system (e.g., Liquid Logic, Mosaic).
• →Advocate for service users, ensuring their rights are upheld and their voices are central to decision-making.
• →Contribute to service development and safeguarding awareness across adult social care.

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
