Social Worker - Children’s Support and Safeguarding

• →Safeguarding & Protection: Deliver professional social work services to children and families to ensure they are protected in accordance with legal requirements and Trust policies.
• →Assessment & Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families in crisis to identify risks and develop effective, outcome-focused intervention plans.
• →Intervention: Implement a range of social work interventions designed to support families and safeguard children from harm.
• →Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with partner agencies (Health, Education, Police) and various professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to child welfare.
• →Caseload Management: Maintain accurate and timely case records, ensuring all statutory visits and reviews are completed within departmental guidelines.
• →Outcome Focus: Ensure the best possible outcomes for children in your care by maintaining a child-centered approach in all decision-making.

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration and a recognized professional Social Work qualification.
• Experience Requirement: Minimum of 3 years of permanent post-qualified experience within a statutory children's safeguarding setting.
• Compliance: You must complete the DfE cover sheet fully to be considered for this position.
• Risk Management: Proven ability to assess and manage risk in high-pressure environments.
• Relationship Building: Strong skills in engaging families during times of crisis and building professional networks.

• Hybrid Working: A hybrid model is in place, requiring 3 days per week in the office at the Gainsborough Road Resource Centre in Corby.
• Office Base: School Place, Corby, Northants, NN18 0QP.
• Contract: Full-time agency cover.
