Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician
Location: Palmyra, NY

Pay Rate: Hourly rate of $28-$50 based on experience

We are looking for motivated, career-minded Heavy Equipment Technicians with experience repairing heavy equipment, trucks, and related systems. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills and build a long-term career with a team-oriented company.

What You'll Do

Perform maintenance and repairs on agricultural, industrial, construction equipment, and Class 1-8 trucks, tractors, and trailers.
Diagnose and repair diesel/gas engines, electrical systems, powertrains, hydraulics, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
Perform component replacement and repair, including engines, transmissions, axles, hydraulic components, liftgates, and related equipment.
Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
Complete FHWA/DOT and NYS inspections as required.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Communicate with service, parts, and customers to ensure quality and timely repairs.

What We're Looking For

Prior experience in heavy equipment, heavy truck, agricultural, automotive, or construction repair
Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain one
NYS Inspector’s License or willingness to obtain within 90 days
Experience with hydraulics, diesel engines, transmissions, and/or electronic controls is a plus
ASE, OEM, or technical training is a plus
Must have your own tools; shop provides tools over ¾” drive
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to quality and customer service
