Lead Specialist, Technical Solutions

The Lead Specialist, Technical Solutions enables the successful delivery of technology and innovation initiatives by transforming business needs into scalable, integrated, and deployable technical solutions. The role ensures that technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes while remaining aligned with enterprise architecture, operational requirements, and long-term strategic objectives.

Acting as a key technical authority across complex initiatives, the role bridges business priorities, domain requirements, and enterprise technology capabilities. It ensures solutions are architecturally sound, operationally viable, secure, and capable of supporting sustainable growth across mining, processing, and enterprise operations. 

Through technical leadership, stakeholder alignment, and delivery assurance, the role strengthens solution quality, accelerates implementation effectiveness, and promotes the adoption of reusable technology patterns that improve scalability, reliability, and value realization. 

• Develop end-to-end technical solutions that align business objectives, operational requirements, and enterprise technology standards.
• Define scalable architectures, integration patterns, data flows, interfaces, deployment approaches, and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure technical solutions remain secure, supportable, resilient, and adaptable to future business needs. 

• Guide multidisciplinary delivery teams through implementation, testing, deployment, and transition into operations.
• Strengthen delivery quality through technical oversight, design assurance, and proactive resolution of complex technical challenges.
• Ensure implemented solutions meet agreed performance, reliability, security, and business outcome expectations. 

• Translate business priorities into practical and achievable technical solutions that support strategic and operational objectives.
• Shape solution scope, success measures, value hypotheses, and implementation roadmaps with business and technology stakeholders.
• Drive alignment between technology delivery, operational needs, and targeted value outcomes.

• Enable seamless integration across data, applications, OT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms.
• Resolve technical dependencies, design risks, and implementation constraints that may impact solution success.
• Maintain architectural consistency through design reviews, technical governance, and documented decision-making.

• Develop reusable solution patterns, standards, templates, and best practices that improve delivery efficiency and consistency.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption opportunities based on business value, scalability, and maintainability.
• Strengthen organizational capability through coaching, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

• Technical solutions are approved, implemented, and consistently aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Solutions demonstrate strong reliability, scalability, security, maintainability, and operational readiness.
• Technical risks, integration challenges, and dependencies are identified and resolved effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree in a relevant technical or management discipline is preferred.
• Relevant solution architecture, cloud, integration, agile, or delivery certification is advantageous.

• 5–10 years of experience in technical solution design, digital delivery, engineering, applications, analytics, data, or related technology environments.
• Proven experience leading solution design activities and guiding multidisciplinary delivery teams through implementation.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into integrated and scalable technical solutions.
• Experience working across architecture, OT, IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and enterprise application environments.
