MA'AN Development Center is looking for Qualified & Dynamic candidates for the position of Project Coordinators (2 Positions) Location: MA’AN Jenin Office and MA’AN Ramallah Office Reports to: Project Manager Position Type and Duration: Full-time, 12 months renewable Start Date: July 2026 Target Locations: Ramallah and Jenin Governorates Job Purpose: MA’AN Development Center is seeking qualified and committed Project Coordinators to support the implementation of the project ‘“Climate-Resilient Agriculture (CRA), in the West Bank”, funded by the World Food Programme (WFP). The Project Coordinators will oversee and facilitate day-to-day implementation of project activities in Jenin (one position) and Ramallah (one position) governorates. The position requires close coordination with local councils, the Ministry of Agriculture, cooperatives, and farming/herding communities and other related authorities, to ensure effective, timely, and high-quality delivery of the project activities in line with MA’AN and WFP standards. Key Responsibilities: · Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day implementation of all project activities in the assigned governorate (Jenin or Ramallah) according to the approved work plan, budget, and WFP/MA’AN quality standards and procedures. · Coordinate the rehabilitation of water infrastructure (ponds, wells, irrigation pipelines) and agricultural roads in close cooperation with MoA, local councils, contractors, and technical staff. · Facilitate the cash-for-work (CfW) process, including beneficiaries selection, registration, attendance tracking, and worksite supervision. · Oversee the distribution of agricultural input packages (farmers and herders) and water tanks to vulnerable households. · Support the establishment of agricultural nurseries in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and local councils. · Facilitate community engagement sessions, beneficiary selection processes, and project committee meetings at the local level. · Coordinate with cooperatives to mobilize and invite women and farmers to participate in training sessions and ensure their active participation throughout the activities. · Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress, collect data, and ensure accountability and quality. · Promote gender equality, inclusion, and youth participation across all project components. · Collaborate with the Project Manager and MEAL team to monitor indicators, document lessons learned, and report on outcomes. · Prepare and submit timely weekly and monthly field reports. · Represent MA’AN at the local level and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders. · Uphold MA’AN’s Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy, and accountability standards. Requirements Qualifications: Education: o Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Rural Development, or a related field. Experience: o Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in coordinating development, humanitarian, or resilience-building projects, preferably in agriculture, water, infrastructure, cash-for-work, or livelihoods. o Proven ability to manage field activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders including local councils, government line ministries (especially Ministry of Agriculture), and community groups. o Experience working with farming communities, herders, women’s cooperatives, or vulnerable rural households. o Familiarity with donor-funded projects’ implementation and compliance (experience with WFP is an asset). o Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently across the West Bank. Professional Skills: Strong organizational and coordination abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse community stakeholders. Good command of Arabic and English (spoken and written). Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Work Conditions, Contract & Benefits The work schedule is 40 hours per week. The probation period is 3 months and can be extended to another 3 months according to the Labor Law. Annual leave: 21 working days/year National and Religious leave: 16 days per year. Sick leave: 14 days/year Indemnity Payment: Equivalent to one month’s salary for each complete year of service. Reimbursement for work related transportation expenses is according to MA’AN’s by- laws. Time flexibility is recognized by both parties with consideration that this position might need to do part of the work after 4:00pm. Contract Type: Project-based / Renewable.
