JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Corporate Systems Tax & E-Invoicing Solutions is a pivotal leadership role in driving the strategic design, global deployment, and optimization of tax integration, calculation, e-invoicing, and cross-border reporting compliance solutions within our next-generation cloud-based ERP financial platforms. This role must possess a deep technical and functional mastery of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, specialized expertise in indirect tax engines (such as Vertex 'O' Series), global e-invoicing mandates, and a proven track record of leading complex multinational implementations.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining the tax implementation strategy and architecture across Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules within Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud. You will lead cross-functional teams of architects, functional consultants, and integration specialists to ensure seamless end-to-end tax automation, multi-country statutory compliance, and flawless financial transaction processing across global properties. Furthermore, you will partner closely with corporate finance, global tax leadership, business stakeholders, and third-party implementation partners to navigate rapidly evolving international tax regulations, e-invoicing mandates, real-time reporting requirements, and mitigate financial and operational risks.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application implementation, architecture, and support including:

5+ years of specialized experience implementing and managing Oracle ERP Fusion Financials, specifically focusing on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Oracle Fusion Tax.

Extensive experience implementing enterprise tax solutions like the Vertex 'O' Series, including multi-country indirect tax compliance, jurisdiction mapping, and tax determination.

Demonstrated expertise in global E-Invoicing mandates, digital reporting requirements (DRR), and statutory indirect tax reporting across multiple international countries/jurisdictions.

Demonstrated leadership experience directing large-scale Oracle cloud implementations, upgrades, and tax integration initiatives.

Deep expertise in configuring Oracle Fusion Tax rules, tax regimes, taxes, status, rates, and recovery rates for complex multi-jurisdictional operating models.

Comprehensive understanding of AP and AR lifecycles, including invoicing, supplier/customer management, withholding tax, remittance, cash application, and subledger accounting (SLA).

Strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, and file-based data imports (FBDI) pertinent to financial and tax data loads.

Proficiency in Oracle Financials reporting tools, including Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP).

Robust understanding of Oracle Cloud security frameworks, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SoD) specifically for financial controllership.

Proven track record of defining test strategies, managing user acceptance testing (UAT), and overseeing cutover planning for major financial transformations.

Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial/tax regulations into scalable technical designs.
Preferred Qualifications

Graduate degree (MBA, Master of Science in Taxation, or MIS).

Oracle Cloud Financials Implementation Certification (GL, AP, AR, or Fusion Tax) and/or Vertex certifications.

Professional certifications such as CPA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or project management credentials (PMP/Agile).

Direct industry experience within hospitality, global retail, or large multinational enterprises with complex cross-border tax structures.

Experience with agile and hybrid project delivery frameworks in a sourced vendor environment.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Strategic Leadership & Governance:

Tax Architecture Vision: Define and execute the enterprise roadmap for tax automation, Vertex 'O' Series integration, e-invoicing compliance, and indirect tax reporting within Oracle ERP Fusion AP and AR modules.

Team Development: Mentor, coach, and guide internal team members, functional leads, and external consultants to foster high performance and technical excellence.

Financial Stewardship: Manage departmental and project budgets, capital expenditures, resource allocations, and vendor contract negotiations.

Process Enhancement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline global financial service delivery models, reduce tax compliance friction, and optimize transaction processing speeds across international markets.
Delivering Technology & Oversight:

Complex Analysis & Solutioning: Perform high-level quantitative and qualitative assessments for large-scale tax, e-invoicing, and financial optimization projects.

Quality Control: Oversee the functional design, system configurations, and end-to-end testing of AP/AR tax workflows, ensuring strict adherence to multi-country indirect tax laws and corporate policies.

Service Provider Management: Direct third-party service providers and system integrators, validating the completeness of requirements, solution designs, and milestone deliverables for tax engine integrations.

Change Management & Communication: Act as a key advisor to executive stakeholders, business leaders, and the support desk regarding business process re-engineering, change management, and user training.

Risk & Compliance Management: Maintain an optimal balance between business agility, operational efficiency, and financial risk, ensuring adherence to global tax reporting standards and e-invoicing mandates.
