Home to the award-winning Gillray's Steakhouse & Bar, famous for its exceptional dining and collection of over 100 gins, County Hall offers the opportunity to be part of a truly unique hospitality experience.
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Director of Finance to join our Executive Committee and lead all aspects of the hotel's finance function. Working closely with the General Manager and ownership, you will provide strategic financial leadership, drive business performance, and ensure strong financial governance across the property.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Leading the property's financial strategy, planning, and performance.
- →Managing budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning processes.
- →Providing commercial insight to support revenue growth and profitability.
- →Partnering with operational leaders to identify efficiencies and drive performance.
- →Safeguarding assets through strong financial controls and risk management.
- →Overseeing cash flow, working capital, financial reporting, and compliance.
- →Managing owner, corporate, audit, and stakeholder relationships.
- →Leading, developing, and mentoring a high-performing finance team.
- Proven finance leadership experience within hospitality
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial controls.
- A track record of delivering financial performance and operational efficiencies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, owners, and executive teams.
- Excellent communication and people leadership capabilities.
- Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred.
