IT Manager - W Rome / The Rome EDITION

At W Rome and The Rome EDITION, we are looking for a dynamic and service-driven IT Manager to lead the technology function across both luxury lifestyle properties.

This Cluster role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and continuous improvement of all IT systems, infrastructure, and user support functions while delivering an exceptional experience for associates and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all hotel IT operations across both properties.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of network infrastructure, servers, business applications, and end-user devices.
• Support hotel operations through effective management of PMS, POS, finance, HR, and corporate systems.
• Lead IT projects, upgrades, implementations, and technology initiatives.
• Maintain cybersecurity standards, data protection measures, and compliance with Marriott and EDITION brand requirements.
• Manage IT vendors, contracts, service providers, and equipment inventories.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to hotel associates and leadership teams.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Monitor technology-related expenses and manage departmental budgets.
• Train associates on IT systems, security awareness, and best practices.

Requirements - Mandatori EU Visa

• Previous experience as an IT Manager, Assistant IT Manager in hospitality, highly preferred Marriott experience.
• Strong knowledge of networks, Microsoft environments, servers, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and hotel technology platforms.
• Experience supporting PMS, POS, and operational hotel systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and operational demands.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent English required; Italian is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
