The Kitchen Steward supports the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across wash-up, pot-wash and back-of-house areas. The role works closely with the Executive Chef and Stewarding Supervisor to ensure a safe, clean and organised working environment. 

• →Clean crockery, silverware and copperware to the required standard. 
• →Use cleaning chemicals, materials and equipment in accordance with instructions. 
• →Maintain optimum levels of hygiene and cleanliness throughout kitchen areas. 
• →Maintain cleanliness standards in back-of-house areas, including corridors, skip and bin rooms. 
• →Support the efficient running of wash-up and pot-wash operations. 
• →Assist the Executive Chef and Stewarding Supervisor with reasonable operational duties. 

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
• Good understanding of the English language. 
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude. 
• Flexible and adaptable approach to shifts and working hours. 
• Previous kitchen porter experience is advantageous. 
• Ability to resolve minor challenges using initiative. 
• Professional and positive approach when interacting with colleagues and guests.
