Kitchen Support Expert (Stewarding)

At AC by Marriott Gold Coast, we’re bringing The Perfectly Precise Hotel to life — a stylish and thoughtfully edited experience for the modern traveller, where purposeful design, attention to detail and effortless service come together.

As a Kitchen Support Expert, you’ll play an important role behind the scenes, helping our culinary and Food & Beverage teams deliver a seamless experience every day.

From maintaining spotless kitchen areas and equipment to supporting food preparation and stewarding operations, your attention to detail will help keep everything running smoothly.

As part of our pre-opening team, you’ll also have the unique opportunity to help establish the standards, routines and culture of AC by Marriott Gold Coast from day one.

In this hands-on role, you will:

• →Maintain clean, organised and safe kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• →Wash, sanitise and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• →Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• →Support basic food preparation and kitchen organisation when required.
• →Assist across kitchen, Food & Beverage and associate dining areas.
• →Transport equipment, supplies and kitchen items throughout the hotel.
• →Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and security procedures.
• →Support your fellow AC Family Members and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

You’ll ideally bring:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• A team-first mindset and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Great attention to cleanliness, organisation and detail.
• The ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Previous kitchen, stewarding, cleaning or hospitality experience is advantageous, but not essential.

Education: No formal qualifications required.
Experience: Previous hospitality, kitchen support or stewarding experience is beneficial but not essential.
Certifications: Food Safety Certificate
