Paralegal, South Asia (Fixed Term Contract)

Paralegal, South Asia 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Assisting lawyers and the development team in drafting, editing and proofreading agreements for management and franchise deals, amendments to agreements, assignments and related documents
• Supporting the execution of agreements including arranging for approvals and signing
• Preparing and filing closing documentation and contract summaries
• Tracking of legal documents and maintaining legal databases
• Approximately 20 to 30% of time will be spent on general administrative tasks such as filing and printing.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience 

• At least a diploma (or equivalent) in Law
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a law firm or law department, with basic understanding of legal nomenclature and legal filing

Skills and Competencies

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong user skills across common platforms (Microsoft Office, Serengeti)
• Able to collaborate well with others on the team and across different teams
• Strong communication skills (written/verbal)
• High level of confidence and able to perform well under pressure. Fast pace worker and able to work with minimal supervision
