Service Bar Bartender

POSITION SUMMARY

Deliver the JW Treatment™ from the heart of our beverage operations. We are looking for an intuitive, highly efficient professional who seamlessly supports our waitstaff, crafting flawless beverages at a rapid pace to ensure our guests’ dining experiences are transformed into personalized culinary journeys. As a Service Bar Bartender, you are the crucial engine behind the scenes, ensuring quality and consistency never waver, even during peak service.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare beverages accurately and efficiently for the floor service team, strictly adhering to exact brand recipes.
• Set up the service bar, clean and maintain all bar units and equipment, and ensure the workspace remains immaculate and highly organized throughout high-volume shifts.
• Prepare fresh garnishes, manage the inventory of ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and efficiently issue, open, and prepare wine/champagne bottles for servers.
• Wash soiled glassware returned from the floor, clear empty wares from the prep area, and properly store items in designated areas to maintain a continuous workflow.
• Accurately process service tickets, manage inventory transfers, count the starting bank (if applicable to the venue's docket system), resolve discrepancies, and complete end-of-shift reports.
• Secure all liquors, beers, wines, coolers, and storage areas at the end of the shift. Strictly follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Partner seamlessly with the floor staff to ensure every guest receives a personalized luxury experience ("The JW Treatment™") through prompt, picture-perfect beverage delivery.
• Stay updated on new trends, micro-local offerings, and evolving beverage profiles to support the broader food and beverage team.
• Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are pristine, maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information, and use clear, professional language at all times.
• Develop exceptionally strong, collaborative relationships across hotel departments—especially with the waitstaff and management—supporting the team in reaching common goals and keeping communication flowing during busy service periods.

We are looking for a passionate bartender who thrives in a high-volume, luxury environment and wants to elevate the art of the cocktail from behind the scenes. In this role, you are the backbone of our beverage program; you will do more than mix drinks—you will craft enriching moments for our guests by providing intuitive, lightning-fast service to our waitstaff, ensuring they have exactly what they need to deliver a flawless dining experience.

 

Key qualifications and skills:

• Very good English knowledge
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktail recipes, premium spirits, wine varietals, and craft beers. The ability to confidently execute complex mixology techniques and adapt recipes to guest preferences
• Enthusiastic, motivated and very dynamic person
• Team player, able to work under pressure
• Exceptional team player, able to maintain calm, focus, and precision under the intense pressure of a bustling service bar.
• Superior organizational skills to manage a meticulous mise en place (prep station), ensuring the service bar remains fully stocked, immaculately clean, and visually appealing to staff throughout the busiest shifts.
