Proven experience operating and setting industrial manufacturing machinery within a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to carry out machine changeovers, adjustments, and basic fault-finding to minimise downtime.
Strong understanding of production KPIs, including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), productivity, quality, and waste reduction.
Experience conducting quality inspections and ensuring products meet customer and company specifications.
Ability to read and follow production documentation, work instructions, and technical specifications.
Experience using powered hand tools, lifting equipment, and mechanical handling equipment safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Continuous Improvement, waste elimination, and process optimisation.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products consistently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
