Procurement Clerk

The Procurement Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the procurement function, ensuring the timely and efficient purchasing of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, consumables, and other supplies required for the smooth operation of the bakery, manufacturing facilities, and associated outlets. 

 Prepare, process, and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved purchasing procedures

 Ensure purchase orders contain accurate product descriptions, quantities, prices, delivery dates, and supplier details

 Coordinate the purchasing of bakery ingredients and manufacturing materials, such as flour, sugar, yeast, fats, dairy products, fillings, and other production ingredients

 Assist in ensuring the availability of packaging materials, labels, cleaning supplies, and production consumables

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing administration, stock control, logistics, or a similar administrative role is considered an asset
• Experience in the bakery, food manufacturing, FMCG, or production sector will be considered an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and general computer applications
• Experience using an ERP, inventory management, or purchasing system is an advantage
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments professionally
