Our Data team brings together engineers, scientists, and analysts who play a critical role in how the business grows. We work with large volumes of marketing and performance data, support data-hungry stakeholders across the company, and help turn complexity into clear, high-impact decisions.

This team is central to how Mediatech operates. The quality of our data, infrastructure, and insights directly affects how well we prioritize, optimize, and scale the business. As Head of Data, you’ll shape how data is managed, activated, and trusted across the company - while also helping unlock smarter automation through AI where it creates real value.

You are a strong data leader with a background in data science or data engineering, and you know how to lead both people and systems with confidence. You understand what good data foundations look like, how to build credibility with demanding stakeholders, and how to turn data into a real business advantage.

You’re comfortable leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and analysts, setting direction without unnecessary process, and creating the conditions for high-quality work in a fast-moving environment. You combine technical depth with strong business judgment, and you’re excited by the opportunity to improve how data supports decision-making, performance, and automation across the company.

  Lead and develop a team of 11 data professionals across engineering, science, and analytics, with a mix of direct and indirect leadership

  Set the direction for how data is managed across the company, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and useful for decision-making

• →

  Own the data roadmap across infrastructure, analytics, and data science, aligning priorities with business needs and growth goals

  Partner closely with marketing and other data-heavy stakeholders to ensure the team is solving the right problems and delivering real impact

  Help identify where AI and automation can improve internal workflows, efficiency, and data-related processes

  Strengthen the company’s data foundations so teams can make faster, better, and more confident data-driven decisions

  Guide technical decisions around data architecture, tooling, workflows, and platform development without needing to be the main hands-on builder

  Drive a high standard across data quality, delivery, and team execution, while keeping the team practical and focused

  Act as a key partner to senior leadership, translating business goals into a clear and commercially relevant data strategy

   

• Strong leadership experience managing data teams that include a mix of engineers, scientists, and analysts

• Background in data engineering or data science, with enough technical depth to guide architecture and delivery decisions credibly

• Interest in AI and automation, with an eye for where these can create practical business value

• Experience working with large-scale data environments and supporting business-critical, data-driven decision-making

• Strong understanding of analytics, data platforms, and modern data tooling such as Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Python, or AWS

• Experience building trust with demanding stakeholders and translating business needs into clear data priorities

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution, and structure with speed

• Good judgment on where process helps and where it only slows things down

• Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex data topics clear to non-technical stakeholders

   

• From 6000 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competences
