Responsibilities

→Conduct clinical assessments, identify behavioral health concerns, and develop individualized treatment plans.
→Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy based on each youth’s clinical needs.
→Utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions.
→Monitor and document youth progress, treatment outcomes, and changes in clinical presentation.
→Provide crisis intervention and support youth experiencing acute emotional or behavioral challenges.
→Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, case managers, educators, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team.
→Communicate effectively with youth and families regarding treatment goals, progress, and recommendations.
→Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with community providers and other appropriate resources.
→Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
→Advocate for the behavioral health needs and overall well-being of youth.
→Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, professional standards, facility policies, and organizational procedures.

Requirements

Active LCSW or LCMHC license in North Carolina.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
Experience with assessment, treatment planning, individual/family therapy, and crisis intervention.
Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with youth, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of trauma-informed, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches.
Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
