Pump Mechanic/Machinist

-Repair, troubleshoot, and install rotating equipment, including:

• →Centrifugal, axial, and reciprocating compressors
• →Centrifugal, diaphragm and positive displacement pumps
• →Chemical injection pumps
• →Turbine and motor-driven equipment drives 

-Use of precision measuring instruments

-Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics

-Complete maintenance documentation, reports and measurement forms

-Follow refinery work permit procedures and safety standards

-Operate and maintain qualifications for mobile equipment such as:

• →Forklifts
• →Telehandlers
• →Man Lifts

-Obtain NCCCO Fixed Cab Crane Certification within 9 months of hire date, if not already certified.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• A valid driver's license.

• Ability to wear appropriate PPE and preform physical field work.

• Must pass a DOT physical.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for future VISA sponsorship.

• Must pass both a written test and a hands-on skill demonstration test.

-Experience operating and maintaining:

• Manual Lathes
• Milling Machines
• Surface Grinders
