Licensed Professional Counselor - FT

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will provide oversight to the operation and management of the Mount Mary University (MMU) Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC). Current licensure as a licensed LPC in Wisconsin is required. Duties include clinical supervision for both master's and doctoral students, development of policies and procedures, and collaboration with other units on campus.

• →Maintain an active caseload
• →Clinical supervision to doctoral and/or master's-level counseling students, as well as, graduate assistants assigned to the CWC.
• →Demonstrate a strong commitment to multicultural and social justice counseling competencies as evidenced in clinical work and supervision.
• →Collaborate (via the prescribed evaluation process) with the Practicum and Internship Coordinator to ensure that both master's and doctoral-level student interns reach developmentally appropriate clinical competency.
• →Ability to work collegially in a collaborative team environment.
• →Provide leadership within a counseling clinic, including the ability to promote the CWC and develop partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders within the university and the local community.
• →Development and oversight of CWC policies and procedures.
• →Monitor compliance with legal and ethical issues, and quality standards of trainees within the CWC.
• →Review and approve case notes and treatment plans of counselors-in-training.
• →Perform other duties, responsibilities, or special projects as assigned.

• Master's degree required.
• Be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin in good standing
• A counselor-first professional identity as evidenced via credentials and engagement with professional counseling organizations preferred.

• Experience in Institution of Higher Education or College Counseling Center setting preferred.
